Siege on Peking,
Boxers rebelling,
Or Paris surrounded
by Prussians yelling.
Stalingrad,
where Nazis were had.
No one will harm me
for that I am glad
for that I am glad
on the riverside,
With no enemy
to be besieged by.
under this sheltering tree,
No need for fortifications
or giving up an inch.
As lawn mowers approach
getting louder, stronger,
No siege on me,
so here I belong.
Rain may come,
the weather change,
but in no man’s way,
i will remain
i will remain
from the world estranged.
Writing sweet words
on puffy clouds,
Invading my illusion
is not allowed.
