Toothless River Gap

A bridge of vanity for my mouth
Where a dead tooth broke
To fill a gap no one would see
When I smile naturally
I cancelled the appointment
Saved a lot of money
Enjoyed the day better
Sitting by the riverside
Even spotted a turtle splashing off a rock
Attracted to its beautiful plop
Awing my toothless river gap
When came a handsome dragonfly
To lilt on the ledge in front of my face
Rest a spell
And other
Sentient being themselves
I am one
In this river tapestry
All I see my senses free
In exchange for my vanity
Smilingly

No Siege on Me

「Boxer Rebellion siege in Peking」的圖片搜尋結果
Siege on Peking,
Boxers rebelling,
Or Paris surrounded
by Prussians yelling.
Stalingrad,
where Nazis were had.
No one will harm me
for that I am glad
on the riverside,
With no enemy
to be besieged by.
under this sheltering tree,
No need for fortifications
or giving up an inch.
As lawn mowers approach
getting louder, stronger,
No siege on me,
so here I belong.
Rain may come,
the weather change,
but in no man’s way,
i will remain
from the world estranged.
Writing sweet words
on puffy clouds,
Invading my illusion
is not allowed.

Summer is easy up the river

Summer is easy up the river
riding with a south wind at my back
Sunny skies to tan my feet
until a wild wind smacks
Smacks the clouds
solid gray
Blows the storm on its way
When a whack
Pours on me
I won’t mind the revelry
Whisk me wide
Riverside
Quenching rain on me glide
Paint a tone poem symphony
Brisk me
Risk a drenching under thee
As a summer breeze lifts your skirt
and my hand fumbles
to caresses the river with poem
Here it come:
Spring rice harvested, a second season sown
Cut grass smells left tasty green
The path carpeted with fresh shavings
through which the bike makes parting sea
Reminds this Moses why he escaped
from that opulent palace of obscurity
To a landscape of tranquility.
It is easy
Breathe the water and see
The parched-stone limitations of opportunity
with the  loss of social affinity
in the heart of a revolutionary
Whichever way the wind deviates
Let me be
And if I fall asleep
Don’t wake me
